Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE has a score of 63.5, which is better than the Amazon Fire HD 6's 55 overall score. Both of these tablets use Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE has an older 4.0 version while Amazon Fire HD 6 has Android 4.4 version. Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE is a heavier but noticeably thinner tablet device than Amazon Fire HD 6.
Amazon Fire HD 6 has a bit more vivid display than Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, because although it has a way smaller screen, and they both have the same exact 1280 x 800 resolution, the Amazon Fire HD 6 also counts with a greater number of pixels per inch in the display. Amazon Fire HD 6 features just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, and they both have 1 GB of RAM, the Amazon Fire HD 6 also counts with more CPU cores.
The Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE takes much better videos and photos than Amazon Fire HD 6, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1280x720 video quality, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE also has a back-facing camera with a lot better 3.2 megapixels resolution. Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE counts with a much better storage capacity for applications and games than Amazon Fire HD 6, and although they both have equal 16 GB internal memory, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE also has a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 32 GB.
The Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE features a really longer battery life than Amazon Fire HD 6.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE is a better device, it is way more expensive than Amazon Fire HD 6, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Amazon Fire HD 6. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get the Amazon Fire HD 6, and give up some specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your money.
