The Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE has a score of 63.5, which is better than the Amazon Fire HD 6's 55 overall score. Both of these tablets use Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE has an older 4.0 version while Amazon Fire HD 6 has Android 4.4 version. Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE is a heavier but noticeably thinner tablet device than Amazon Fire HD 6.

Amazon Fire HD 6 has a bit more vivid display than Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, because although it has a way smaller screen, and they both have the same exact 1280 x 800 resolution, the Amazon Fire HD 6 also counts with a greater number of pixels per inch in the display. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get the Amazon Fire HD 6, and give up some specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your money.
