Galaxy Tab A (2016) is a newer tablet, and it is also a bit lighter and somewhat thinner than Amazon Fire HD 6. These tablets work with Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab A (2016) has the newer 5.1 Lollipop version while Amazon Fire HD 6 has Android 4.4 version, counting with some extra features.
