The Galaxy Tab Active 2 has an overall score of 70, which is way better than Amazon Fire HD 6's general score of 55. These devices work with Android OS, but Galaxy Tab Active 2 has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Amazon Fire HD 6 has Android 4.4. The Galaxy Tab Active 2 construction is much newer and just a little thinner than Amazon Fire HD 6's, although it's noticeably heavier.
Amazon Fire HD 6 features a sharper screen than Galaxy Tab Active 2, because although it has a way smaller screen, and they both have the same resolution of 1280 x 800, the Amazon Fire HD 6 also counts with a higher pixels density. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 counts with a little faster processor than Amazon Fire HD 6, because it has a larger amount of RAM memory and 4 more CPU cores.
The Galaxy Tab Active 2 shoots much clearer videos and photos than Amazon Fire HD 6, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy Tab Active 2 also has a much more mega-pixels back-facing camera. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 features a much bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Amazon Fire HD 6, and although they both have the same 16 GB internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 also has an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 256 GB.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 counts with a much better battery lifetime than Amazon Fire HD 6.
Although Galaxy Tab Active 2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Amazon Fire HD 6, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Amazon Fire HD 6. If you are trying to save some money, you can get Amazon Fire HD 6, giving up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most with your savings.
