Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab Active has an overall score of 67, which is much better than the Amazon Fire HD 6's 55 score. Both of these devices use the same Android 4.4 OS. The Galaxy Tab Active body is heavier but just a bit thinner than the Amazon Fire HD 6, and they were released only 1 months apart. Galaxy Tab Active's processing unit is very similar to the CPU in Amazon Fire HD 6, and although the Galaxy Tab Active has a graphics processing unit and a greater amount of RAM, they both have a Quad-Core CPU.
The Amazon Fire HD 6 counts with just a bit better display than Galaxy Tab Active, because although it has a lot smaller screen, and they both have the same exact 1280 x 800 resolution, the Amazon Fire HD 6 also counts with a higher screen pixel density. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active features a much greater memory capacity for apps and games than Amazon Fire HD 6, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active also has an external memory slot that admits a maximum of 64 GB.
The Galaxy Tab Active captures way better photographs and videos than Amazon Fire HD 6, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same video definition, the Galaxy Tab Active also has a camera in the back with a way higher 3.1 mega-pixels resolution. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active features a very superior battery life than Amazon Fire HD 6.
Although Galaxy Tab Active is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Amazon Fire HD 6, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Amazon Fire HD 6. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Galaxy Tab Active, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Amazon Fire HD 6, giving up some features and specs.
