Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a global score of 74.6, which is way better than the Amazon Fire HD 6's 55 global score. Even though Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 and Amazon Fire HD 6 were released only 9 months apart, Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1's construction is a lot heavier but also a lot thinner. Both of these devices have the same Android 4.4 OS (operating system).
The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has just a bit better display than Amazon Fire HD 6, because it has a just a little better display density, a lot better resolution of 1600 x 2560px and a way larger screen. Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 counts with a superior storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Amazon Fire HD 6, because it has an external memory slot that admits up to 64 GB and 32 GB internal memory capacity.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a better processor than Amazon Fire HD 6, and although they both have 4 CPU cores, the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 also has an additional graphics co-processor and a greater amount of RAM memory. The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 shoots much better videos and photos than Amazon Fire HD 6, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 video definition, the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 also has a camera in the back with a much higher 8 megapixels resolution.

Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is a lot more expensive than Amazon Fire HD 6, but it's still a convenient choice, as you can get a lot more for that extra money.
