Comparison review
Xperia Tablet Z has an overall score of 68.5, which is a lot better than Amazon Fire HD 6's general score of 55. Both tablets in our current comparison work with Android operating system, but Xperia Tablet Z has a newer 4.4.4 version while Amazon Fire HD 6 has Android 4.4. Xperia Tablet Z's body is way thinner than the Amazon Fire HD 6, although it is noticeably heavier and was released about 21 months before.
Amazon Fire HD 6 features a little bit better screen than Sony Xperia Tablet Z, because although it has a lot smaller display and a way worse resolution of 1280 x 800px, it also counts with a quite higher pixel count in each inch of screen. Xperia Tablet Z features a bit more powerful processor than Amazon Fire HD 6, and although they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the Xperia Tablet Z also has more RAM memory and a graphics processor.
The Xperia Tablet Z has a superior memory for apps and games than Amazon Fire HD 6, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 64 GB and 32 GB internal storage. Sony Xperia Tablet Z takes greater videos and photos than Amazon Fire HD 6, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (Full HD) video quality, the Sony Xperia Tablet Z also has a back-facing camera with a much higher resolution.
The Xperia Tablet Z counts with a much longer battery duration than Amazon Fire HD 6.
Although Sony Xperia Tablet Z is a better device, it is way more expensive than Amazon Fire HD 6, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Amazon Fire HD 6. If you want to save some money, you can buy the Amazon Fire HD 6, giving up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your savings.
