Comparison review
The Apple iPad (2020) has an overall score of 66.6, which is much better than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020)'s score of 58.6. Although Apple iPad (2020) and the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) were only released 4 months apart, Apple iPad (2020)'s design is much thinner but noticeably heavier than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020).
The iPad (2020) has a better processing unit than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and although they both have the same number of cores, the iPad (2020) also has a 64-bits CPU. The iPad (2020) has a brighter display than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because it has a higher pixel density, a much higher resolution of 1620 x 2160 and a larger screen.
IPad (2020) shoots much clearer videos and photos than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because it has a much better 8 megapixels resolution back camera and a way higher 1920x1080 video resolution. The Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) features a very superior memory for apps and games than Apple iPad (2020), and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) also has a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 1000 GB.
IPad (2020)'s battery performance is very similar to the battery performance in Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020).
Although iPad (2020) is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020). If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), letting go a few features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your money.
