The iPad 9.7-inch (2018) has a general score of 77, which is much better than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020)'s 58.6 score. Although iPad 9.7-inch (2018) is way older and noticeably heavier than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), it's body is still much thinner. IPad 9.7-inch (2018) features a sharper display than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because it has a higher screen density, a bigger display and a much higher 1536 x 2048px resolution.
IPad 9.7-inch (2018) features just a little better performance than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020). Both of them have a 2 GB RAM and 4 cores. The iPad 9.7-inch (2018) captures much better pictures and videos than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because it has a lot better video definition and a lot better resolution camera.
The Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has a bit bigger storage for apps and games than Apple iPad 9.7-inch (2018), because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 1000 GB.
