The iPad mini (2019) is much better than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), with an 85.9 score against 58.6. The iPad mini (2019) body is much thinner and lighter than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), although it was released about 14 months before. The iPad mini (2019) has iPadOS 13.x operating system, while Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) counts with Android 9.0 Pie operating system.
