Comparison review
The Asus MeMO Pad 7 (ME572C) is a bit better than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), having a global score of 59.5 against 58.6. Both tablets in this comparison work with Android OS, but the Asus MeMO Pad 7 (ME572C) has older 4.4 version while Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie. The Asus MeMO Pad 7 (ME572C) body is somewhat thinner and much lighter than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020).

Asus MeMO Pad 7 (ME572C) counts with a much better camera than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1280x720 video definition, the Asus MeMO Pad 7 (ME572C) also has a lot better resolution back facing camera.
Although Asus MeMO Pad 7 (ME572C) is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020). So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Asus MeMO Pad 7 (ME572C), else you can save some dollars and buy the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), letting go some features and specifications.
