Comparison review

The Google Nexus 7 (2013) is a lot better than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), getting a general score of 70.8 against 58.6. Both tablets we compare here come with Android OS, but Google Nexus 7 (2013) has 5.0 version while Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie version. Google Nexus 7 (2013) is an a lot older tablet device than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), but Google made it somewhat thinner and somewhat lighter anyway.

Google Nexus 7 (2013) counts with a much sharper display than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a much greater screen density and a much higher resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels. The Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) features just a little better performance than Google Nexus 7 (2013), although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, they both have the same RAM memory amount and the same number of cores.
