Comparison review

The Google Nexus 9 has a score of 74.5, which is way better than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020)'s overall score of 58.6. Google Nexus 9 is an extremely older and heavier tablet than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), but Google managed to build it somewhat thinner anyway. Both tablets we compare here have Android OS (operating system), but the Google Nexus 9 has older 5.0 version while Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie.

Google Nexus 9 has a little bit better processing power than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because although it has 2 lesser cores (but faster), and they both have 2 GB of RAM, the Google Nexus 9 also counts with a 64-bit CPU. Google Nexus 9 has a much sharper screen than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because it has a much higher resolution of 2048 x 1536px, a lot greater display density and a little bit larger display.

The Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) counts with a much greater storage to install games and applications than Google Nexus 9, and although they both have the same 32 GB internal memory, the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) also has an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 1000 GB. Google Nexus 9 counts with a way better battery duration than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020).

Google Nexus 9 takes a lot better pictures and videos than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because it has a much better resolution back-facing camera and a much higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition.

The Google Nexus 9 is a lot more expensive than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), but it's still a convenient choice, as you can get a lot more for that extra money.
