Comparison review
Huawei MediaPad M1 has a score of 61.5, which is just a bit better than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020)'s 58.6 global score. Both of these devices work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei MediaPad M1 has older 4.2.2 version while Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie. Although Huawei MediaPad M1 is notably older than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), it's design is a little lighter and somewhat thinner.
The Huawei MediaPad M1 features a better display than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020). Both of them have the same screen pixels density, the same exact resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and a same size screen. The Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) features much more memory for games and applications than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has an external SD slot that allows up to 1000 GB and 32 GB internal memory capacity.
The Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) features just a bit better performance than Huawei MediaPad M1, and although they both have 4 processing cores, the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) also has a higher amount of RAM memory. Huawei MediaPad M1 has a much better battery lifetime than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020). Huawei MediaPad M1 takes much better videos and photos than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because it has a way better video definition and a way more megapixels back-facing camera.
Although Huawei MediaPad M1 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020). So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Huawei MediaPad M1, else you can save some money and buy the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), letting go a couple features and specifications.
