Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has a score of 58.6, which is a little bit better than LG G Pad II 8.0's global score of 58.3. Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020)'s body is noticeably newer than the LG G Pad II 8.0's, but it is a little bit thicker and just a little heavier. Both tablets in this review use Android operating system, but Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while LG G Pad II 8.0 has Android 5.0 Lollipop version.
Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) features a little bit better looking screen than LG G Pad II 8.0. They have a same size screen, the same exact 800 x 1280px resolution and the same amount of pixels in each inch in the screen. Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) counts with a very superior memory capacity to store more games and applications than LG G Pad II 8.0, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) also has an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 1000 GB.
