Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is way better than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), with a score of 72.2 against 58.6. Even though the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is extremely older and much heavier than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), it's body is still just a bit thinner. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 works with Windows 8.1 Pro OS, and Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) comes with Android 9.0 Pie OS.
The Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has just a bit better hardware performance than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, because although it has less RAM, it also counts with 2 more CPU cores. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 counts with a much better looking screen than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because it has a just a bit better pixel count in each inch of display, a way better resolution of 1440 x 2160 and a lot larger screen.
Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has much more storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 480 GB more internal storage. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 shoots better videos and photos than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because it has a way higher 5 mega pixels resolution back camera and a lot better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality.
