Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is better than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), with a general score of 66.3 against 58.6. Despite of the fact the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is older and heavier than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), it's design is still just a little bit thinner. Both of these devices come with Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 has the older 4.4 version and Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie.

The Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) features a little faster processor than Galaxy Note 10.1. Both have the same RAM memory amount and a Quad-Core processing unit. Galaxy Note 10.1 counts with a screen that's very similar to the screen in Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because although the Galaxy Note 10.1 has a just a little worse pixel number in each inch of screen, and they both have the same exact 800 x 1280px resolution, it also counts with a bigger display.

Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has a very superior storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy Note 10.1, because although it has only 32 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 1000 GB. Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 has a superior battery duration than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020).

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 has just a bit better camera than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1280x720 (HD) video definition, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 also has a back-facing camera with lot more mega-pixels.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020). So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), giving up some specs and features.
