Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE is slightly better than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), having a 63 score against 58.6. Both of these tablets use Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE has the older 4.4.2 version and Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie version. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE design is just a bit thinner than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), although it's heavier and was released many years before.

Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has just a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE. Both have the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount. Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) and Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE both feature very similar displays, because although the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE has a little bit worse number of pixels per inch of display, and they both have the same exact 800 x 1280 pixels resolution, it also counts with a larger screen.

The Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE has a superior camera than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and although they both have the same (HD) video definition and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE also has a camera in the back with a much higher resolution. The Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) features a much greater memory to store more games and applications than Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, because it has a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 1000 GB and 16 GB more internal storage.

Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE features a battery life that's very similar to the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) one.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020). If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and give up a couple features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
