Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE is slightly better than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), having a 62.5 score against 58.6. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE design is thinner but way heavier than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020). Both tablets in our current comparison use Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has the older 3.1 version and Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie version.

The Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) features a superior hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because it has a greater amount of RAM and 2 more processing cores. Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE counts with just a bit better display than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because although it has a quite worse pixel density, and they both have the same exact resolution of 800 x 1280px, the Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE also counts with a larger screen.

The Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) counts with a much bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, and although they both have equal 32 GB internal memory, the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) also has a SD card slot that supports up to 1000 GB. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has a bit better camera than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and although they both have the same (HD) video quality and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE also has a way more mega pixels camera.

Although Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020). So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, else you can save some money and get the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), resigning a couple specifications.
