Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has a score of 58.6, which is a little bit better than the Galaxy Tab 10.1's 58.1 general score. Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) is a much newer and much lighter tablet than the Galaxy Tab 10.1, but it's somewhat thicker. Both tablets in this comparison review come with Android OS (operating system), but the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has newer 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy Tab 10.1 has Android 4.0.4 version, so it gives a couple additional features.
Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) features a better performing processing unit than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has 2 more processing cores. Galaxy Tab 10.1 features a little bit better display than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because although it has a little bit worse pixels quantity per inch of display, and they both have the same exact resolution of 800 x 1280px, the Galaxy Tab 10.1 also counts with a larger display.
The Galaxy Tab 10.1 counts with a lot better camera than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because it has a way better resolution camera in the back and a way better 1920x1080 video quality.
