Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 is much better than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), with a score of 66.5 against 58.6. The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 is a way older and a little thicker tablet than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), but Samsung managed to build it lighter anyway. Both of these tablets include Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has the older 4.4.2 version while Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 features a slightly better display than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), although it has a way worse resolution of 600 x 1024, a just a bit lower screen pixels density and a bit smaller display. The Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) features a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, it also counts with 2 more CPU cores and more RAM.
Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) features a much greater storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has 16 GB more internal storage and a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 1000 GB. The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 counts with a really longer battery duration than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020).
The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 takes a little bit better pictures and videos than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because it has a back facing camera with a much higher 3 mega pixels resolution.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020). So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, else you can save some dollars and buy the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), giving up a couple specifications.
