Comparison review
Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch is better than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), having a overall score of 68.7 against 58.6. Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch is an extremely older tablet than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), but Samsung was able to make it thinner and somewhat lighter anyway. Both tablets in our current comparison use Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has the previous 4.2.2 version and Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie.
Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch counts with a bit sharper screen than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020). They have a same size display, the same 800 x 1280 pixels resolution and a higher number of pixels per screen inch. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch features a bit more powerful CPU than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because although it has a lower number of cores and less RAM memory, it also counts with a graphics co-processor.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch takes greater photographs and videos than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1280x720 (HD) video definition, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch also has a back-facing camera with lot more megapixels. Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) features a much greater memory to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, and although they both have equal 32 GB internal memory capacity, the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) also has a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 1000 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch counts with a much better battery life than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020).
The Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch costs a lot more money than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), but it's still a great deal, as you can get a lot more for that extra money.
