Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE is a bit better than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), getting a global score of 63.5 against 58.6. Both devices in our current comparison come with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE has 4.0 version and Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie. Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE's body is somewhat thinner and just a little bit lighter than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020).

Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) counts with a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with a higher number of cores and more RAM memory. Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE has a much better screen than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have an equal resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE also counts with a bit more pixels per inch of display.

The Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has much more memory for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, because it has a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 1000 GB and 16 GB more internal memory. Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE features a superior battery duration than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020).

The Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE shoots just a bit better photographs and videos than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and although they both have the same (HD) video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE also has a camera in the back with a much higher 3.2 mega pixels resolution.

Although Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE is a better device, it is way more expensive than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020). If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), letting go a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your budget.
