Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) is way better than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), having a general score of 76.7 against 58.6. Both tablets we are comparing here have Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) has the older 11 version while Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie. Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) is an older and a lot heavier tablet than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), but Samsung was able to make it incredibly thinner anyway.

The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) features a bit superior processing unit than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because it has 1 GB more RAM memory and 4 more cores. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) has a little bit better screen than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because it has a lot better 1200 x 1920px resolution, a larger display and a little bit higher pixels count in each inch in the screen.

The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) shoots much clearer photographs and videos than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because it has a lot higher (Full HD) video definition and a much more MP back-facing camera.
