Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is just a bit better than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), getting a 62.8 score against 58.6. These devices work with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has 7.1 Nougat version while Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie. Even though Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is noticeably older than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), it's design is a lot thinner and somewhat lighter.

Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) features a bit more powerful processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and although they both have 4 processing cores, the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) also has a greater amount of RAM memory. Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has a slightly better screen than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) also has a slightly better resolution of 800 x 1280 and a just a bit higher pixels density.

Galaxy Tab A 8.0 takes much clearer photos and videos than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1280x720 video resolution, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 also has a way more mega pixels camera in the back. Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) features a superior memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has 16 GB more internal storage capacity and a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 1000 GB.

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has a much better battery performance than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020).

Although Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020). So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Galaxy Tab A 8.0, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), resigning some specifications.
