Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has a global score of 65.7, which is much better than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020)'s score of 58.6. Both of these tablets include the same Android 9.0 Pie OS (operating system), so they should give all the same operating system features. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) is a noticeably older and just a little bit heavier device than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), but Samsung was able to make it a little thinner anyway.

Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) counts with a little faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017). Both of them have a Quad-Core CPU and the same RAM memory amount.
