Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) has a score of 69, which is better than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020)'s global score of 58.6. Both of these tablets come with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) has an older 11 version while Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) is an older tablet device than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), but Samsung made it somewhat thinner and a bit lighter anyway.

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) counts with a processing unit that is just as good as Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020)'s processor, both have a Quad-Core processor and the same RAM memory amount.
