Galaxy Tab S 10.5 is much better than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), getting a general score of 74.3 against 58.6. These tablets have Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has 4.4.2 version while Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie version. The Galaxy Tab S 10.5 is a older and heavier tablet than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), but Samsung made it notably thinner anyway.
The Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has just a bit better hardware performance than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because it has a greater amount of RAM and more CPU cores.
