The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 body is lighter and much thinner than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), although it was released 6 years before. These tablets include Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has older 4.4.2 version while Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie.
