Comparison review
The Galaxy View 2 is much better than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), having a 65.3 score against 58.6. Even being the best in this comparison review, Galaxy View 2 is an older, much heavier and much thicker tablet than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020). Both tablets we are comparing use Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy View 2 has the older 8.1 Oreo version while Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie version.
The Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) features a more vivid display than Galaxy View 2, because although it has a much smaller display and a lot worse 800 x 1280 resolution, it also counts with a higher pixels density. Galaxy View 2 features a bit bigger memory for applications and games than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because although it has an external memory card slot that supports up to 400 GB against 1000 GB, it also counts with more internal storage.
Galaxy View 2 and Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) feature very similar processors, although the Galaxy View 2 also has a larger amount of RAM and a greater number of cores (but slower). The Galaxy View 2 has a much longer battery duration than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020). Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) shoots way better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy View 2.
Although Galaxy View 2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020). So if you need that extra features, you can buy Galaxy View 2, else you can save some dollars and buy the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), letting go some features and specs.
