Comparison review
The Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) is slightly better than the Xiaomi pad 5, having a general score of 58.6 against 57.7. Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020)'s body is a lot lighter than the Xiaomi pad 5, although it's noticeably thicker and was released a bit more over a year before. These devices have Android operating system, but Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Xiaomi pad 5 has Android 12, so it provides the user some additional features and performance enhancements.
Xiaomi pad 5 counts with a screen that is very similar to Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020)'s display, although the Xiaomi pad 5 also has a really bigger display, a lot better 1600 x 2560px resolution and more pixels per inch in the display. The Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) counts with a much faster processor than Xiaomi pad 5, although it has a lower number of cores and a smaller amount of RAM memory.
The Xiaomi pad 5 captures much clearer videos and photos than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because it has a way better 3840x2160 video definition and a lot better 13 mega-pixels resolution back camera. Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has a slightly better memory to store more games and applications than Xiaomi pad 5, because although it has just 32 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 1000 GB.
The Xiaomi pad 5 counts with a much better battery duration than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020).
