The iPad (2020) has a general score of 66.6, which is much better than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020)'s overall score of 59.7. Even though the iPad (2020) and the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) were released with only 4 months difference, the iPad (2020) construction is noticeably thinner but also notably heavier than the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020).
IPad (2020) has a superior hardware performance than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), and although they both have 4 cpu cores, the iPad (2020) also has a 64 bits CPU. The Apple iPad (2020) features a more vivid display than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), because it has a much higher 1620 x 2160px resolution, more pixels per screen inch and a bigger display.
IPad (2020) has a lot better camera than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), because it has a much higher 8 MP resolution back-facing camera and a lot higher video definition.
