IPad 9.7-inch (2018) is a lot better than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), having a global score of 77 against 59.7. IPad 9.7-inch (2018) is a way older and incredibly heavier tablet than the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), but Apple managed to build it incredibly thinner anyway. IPad 9.7-inch (2018) has a better looking screen than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), because it has a much higher resolution of 1536 x 2048px, a higher quantity of pixels per inch of display and a bigger screen.
The iPad 9.7-inch (2018) has a bit more powerful CPU than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), although it has 1 GB less RAM, they both have 4 processing cores.
