Comparison review

Asus MeMO Pad 8 has a score of 61.2, which is just a bit better than the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020)'s global score of 59.7. Both tablets in our current comparison work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Asus MeMO Pad 8 has 4.4 version while Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie. The Asus MeMO Pad 8 body is way thinner and lighter than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), despite of the fact that it was released 6 years before.

The Asus MeMO Pad 8 has a bit superior processor than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), although it has 1 GB less RAM memory, they both have a Quad-Core processor. Asus MeMO Pad 8 features a more vivid screen than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), and although they both have a same size screen, the Asus MeMO Pad 8 also has a much better resolution of 1920 x 1200 and a better pixel density.

Asus MeMO Pad 8 takes much clearer pictures and videos than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1280x720 (HD) video resolution, the Asus MeMO Pad 8 also has a way more mega-pixels camera in the back. Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has a much greater storage capacity for games and applications than Asus MeMO Pad 8, and although they both have the same 32 GB internal memory capacity, the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) also has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 1000 GB.

The Asus MeMO Pad 8 features a battery life that is very similar to Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020)'s battery duration.

Although Asus MeMO Pad 8 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020). So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Asus MeMO Pad 8, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), resigning some specifications.
