Google Nexus 7 (2013) is better than the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), having a score of 70.8 against 59.7. The Google Nexus 7 (2013) design is thinner and somewhat lighter than the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), although it was released many years before. Both of these tablets use Android OS (operating system), but Google Nexus 7 (2013) has the previous 5.0 version and Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie version.

The Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has a bit faster processor than Google Nexus 7 (2013), because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processor, and they both have the same number of cores, the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) also counts with 1 GB more RAM memory. Google Nexus 7 (2013) has a much more vibrant display than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a lot better count of pixels per inch in the display and a way better resolution of 1200 x 1920px.
