The Samsung ATIV Tab 5 is better than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), getting a global score of 69.2 against 59.7. The Samsung ATIV Tab 5 has Windows 8 OS, and Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) comes with Android 9.0 Pie OS. Despite being the best portable tablet in this comparison, it must be told that it's also a noticeably older, just a bit thicker and incredibly heavier portable tablet.
Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has a bit more powerful processing unit than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, because it has a greater number of faster cores and 1 GB more RAM memory.
