Comparison review
Galaxy Note 10.1 is better than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), having a score of 66.3 against 59.7. The Galaxy Note 10.1 construction is a bit thinner than the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), but it's incredibly heavier and was released 8 years before. These tablets include Android OS, but the Galaxy Note 10.1 has 4.4 version while Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie version.
Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 counts with a screen that is just as good as the screen in Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), because although the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 has a just a little worse number of pixels per screen inch, and they both have the same exact 800 x 1280 resolution, it also counts with a larger screen.
The Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has just a bit better performance than Galaxy Note 10.1, and although they both have 4 CPU cores, the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) also has a greater amount of RAM memory. Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has much more memory to install games and applications than Galaxy Note 10.1, because although it has only 32 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 1000 GB.
Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 features a superior battery lifetime than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020). The Galaxy Note 10.1 shoots slightly better photos and videos than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same (HD) video quality, the Galaxy Note 10.1 also has a back facing camera with a lot higher resolution.
Although Galaxy Note 10.1 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020). So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Galaxy Note 10.1, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), giving up a couple features and specs.
