Comparison review

The Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) is slightly better than Galaxy Tab 10.1, with a score of 59.7 against 58.1. Even though Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) is somewhat thicker than the Galaxy Tab 10.1, it's incredibly lighter and also newer. Both of these devices come with Android operating system, but the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has newer 9.0 Pie version and Galaxy Tab 10.1 has Android 4.0.4, so it provides you a couple additional features and performance optimizations.

Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has a better processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has a larger number of cores. Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has a little sharper screen than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), because although it has a little lower display density, and they both have the same 800 x 1280 resolution, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 also counts with a larger screen.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 takes much better photos and videos than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), because it has a camera in the back with lot more mega-pixels and a lot better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution. Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has a superior memory for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 10.1, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) also has an external memory card slot that supports up to 1000 GB.

Galaxy Tab 10.1 counts with a much longer battery lifetime than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020).

Despite of being the best tablet of the ones in this comparison, the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) is also a bargain compared to others.
