Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) is a bit better than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), having a 65 score against 59.7. The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) is a heavier device than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), but both are equally thin. These devices have Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has the older 4.1 version while Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie.
Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) features a little faster processor than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, it also counts with a higher number of cores and a higher amount of RAM. Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) counts with a bit more vivid display than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), because although it has a just a bit lower display density, and they both have the same resolution of 800 x 1280px, the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) also counts with a larger screen.
The Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) counts with a lot bigger memory for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because it has a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 1000 GB and more internal storage capacity. The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) counts with a very superior battery performance than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020).

If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), and give up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your money.
