Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has a global score of 66.5, which is much better than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020)'s global score of 59.7. Both of these tablets work with Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has an older 4.4.2 version while Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie. Despite of the fact the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 is noticeably older and a little thicker than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), it's construction is still lighter.
Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 counts with a bit sharper screen than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), although it has a quite smaller display, a way worse resolution of 600 x 1024px and a little bit less pixels per inch in the screen. The Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) counts with a little faster processing unit than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processor, it also counts with a greater amount of RAM and a greater number of faster cores.
Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) features a way bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 1000 GB and 16 GB more internal memory. The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 counts with a way better battery performance than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020).

So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, else you can save some money and buy the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), resigning a couple specifications.
