Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) has a general score of 69, which is much better than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020)'s general score of 59.7. Both of these tablets come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) has the previous 11 version and Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie. Even though the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) is older than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), it's body is somewhat thinner and just a little bit lighter.

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) and Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) have incredibly similar displays, both of them have a screen of the same size, a better number of pixels per display inch and exactly the same 800 x 1280px resolution. Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) features a bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019), and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) also has an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 1000 GB.

Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) counts with a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019), and although they both have 4 CPU cores, the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
