The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) is a somewhat lighter and notably thinner tablet than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), even though they were released only 1 months apart. Both tablets in this review come with the same Android 9.0 Pie operating system.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) has a bit better screen than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), because it has a quite larger display, a way better resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels and a greater pixel number per inch in the screen. The Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) features just a little better performance than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) also has 4 more CPU cores (although slower).
Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) captures way better videos and photos than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), because it has a lot higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and a camera in the back with lot more MP.
