Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 has a general score of 70, which is better than the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020)'s 59.7 general score. Despite being the best device we are comparing, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 is a older, heavier and just a little bit thicker device than the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020). These tablets work with the same Android 9.0 Pie OS, so you shouldn't perceive any difference regarding that.
The Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) counts with just a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2, although it has a lower number of cores , they both have the same RAM amount. Galaxy Tab Active 2 has a display that is just as good as Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020)'s display, both of them have the same display pixel density, the same exact resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels and a display with the same size.
Galaxy Tab Active 2 takes much better photographs and videos than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), because it has a way better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and a way more megapixels back facing camera. The Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has a very superior storage capacity for applications and games than Galaxy Tab Active 2, because it has a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 1000 GB and 16 GB more internal storage.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 has a way better battery life than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020).
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020). So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), giving up a couple features and specifications.
