Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active is better than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), with a overall score of 67 against 59.7. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active is a a little heavier portable tablet than the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), but both are 0.38inches thick. Both tablets in this review have Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active has an older 4.4 version and Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active features a sharper display than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020). Both of them have a display of the same size, a better pixel count in each inch in the screen and the same exact resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has just a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, and they both have 4 cores, the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) also counts with a larger amount of RAM.
Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) features a much greater storage capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab Active, because it has a SD extension slot that holds up to 1000 GB and 32 GB internal memory capacity. Galaxy Tab Active has a very superior battery lifetime than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020).
The Galaxy Tab Active takes much clearer pictures and videos than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), and although they both have the same 1280x720 (HD) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy Tab Active also has a lot more MP camera in the back.
Although Galaxy Tab Active is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020). So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Galaxy Tab Active, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), letting go a couple specs and features.
