The Galaxy Tab S 10.5 is a lot better than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), having a 74.3 score against 59.7. Both tablets we compare here use Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has 4.4.2 version and Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie. Galaxy Tab S 10.5 is an a lot older and heavier tablet than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), but Samsung managed to make it a lot thinner anyway.
The Galaxy Tab S 10.5 and Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) count with incredibly similar processing units, and although the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has a higher number of cores (although slower), they both have 3 GB of RAM. The Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has an incredibly better looking display than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), because it has a much bigger screen, a way better resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels and a lot greater screen pixel density.

Galaxy Tab S 10.5 counts with a greater camera than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), because it has a much higher resolution back facing camera and a way higher 1920x1080 video definition. Galaxy Tab S 10.5 counts with a really longer battery duration than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020).
Galaxy Tab S 10.5 costs a lot more than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), but you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
