Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy View 2 is a little bit better than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), getting a score of 65.3 against 59.7. Although it's the best tablet we compare here, the Samsung Galaxy View 2 is an older, way thicker and a lot heavier tablet than the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020). Both of these tablets have Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy View 2 has the previous 8.1 Oreo version while Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie.
The Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has just a bit better performance than Galaxy View 2, although it has 4 less processing cores , they both have a 3 GB RAM. Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has a much better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy View 2, because although it has a much smaller screen and a lot worse resolution of 800 x 1280px, it also counts with a higher amount of pixels per inch of display.
Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy View 2. Galaxy View 2 has a slightly bigger storage for applications and games than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), because although it has a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 400 GB against 1000 GB, it also counts with 32 GB more internal memory capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy View 2 counts with a much better battery performance than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020).
Although Galaxy View 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020). If you prefer to save some money, you can get Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), and give up a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your money.
