Asus MeMO Pad FHD 10 has a general score of 61.1, which is better than the Amazon Fire HD 8's 53.3 overall score. Both of these tablets use Android OS (operating system), but Asus MeMO Pad FHD 10 has the previous 4.2 version and Amazon Fire HD 8 has Android 5.0. Even being the best tablet in our current comparison, Asus MeMO Pad FHD 10's design is much older, noticeably heavier and thicker than Amazon Fire HD 8.

Asus MeMO Pad FHD 10 counts with a little better hardware performance than Amazon Fire HD 8, because it has an additional GPU, a higher amount of RAM memory and more 1.5 GHz CPU cores. The Asus MeMO Pad FHD 10 counts with a more vivid screen than Amazon Fire HD 8, because it has a bit higher display pixel density, a lot higher resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels and a larger screen.

The Amazon Fire HD 8 has a quite bigger memory to install applications and games than Asus MeMO Pad FHD 10, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Amazon Fire HD 8 also has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 128 GB. Asus MeMO Pad FHD 10 takes much better pictures and videos than Amazon Fire HD 8.
