Comparison review

Google Nexus 7 (2013) has a score of 70.7, which is a bit better than the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9's 66.3 global score. Google Nexus 7 (2013) is an older and thicker device than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, but Google was able to make it much lighter anyway. These devices use Android OS, but the Google Nexus 7 (2013) has a newer 5.0 version and Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has Android 4.4 version.

The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 counts with a bit better processor than Google Nexus 7 (2013), although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, they both have 4 cores and a 2 GB RAM. The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 counts with a little bit better looking screen than Google Nexus 7 (2013), because it has a higher resolution of 1600 x 2560px, a bit more pixels per inch in the screen and a bigger display.

The Google Nexus 7 (2013)'s camera is just as good as the camera in Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, although the Google Nexus 7 (2013) has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not favorable for taking photographs or videos in low light situations, a camera in the back with much less mega-pixels and a worse 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution.

The Google Nexus 7 (2013)'s storage for applications and games is just as good as Amazon Fire HDX 8.9's one, they have the same 32 GB internal storage. Google Nexus 7 (2013) features a much longer battery performance than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9.

Despite of being the best tablet of the ones we compare here, the Google Nexus 7 (2013) is also a bargain compared to the other ones.
