The iPad Air (2022) has a score of 81.4, which is much better than the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9's 67.9 score. Although the iPad Air (2022) is somewhat heavier than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, it's thinner and much newer. The iPad Air (2022) has iPadOS 15.x operating system, while Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 works with Android 4.4 operating system.
The iPad Air (2022) features a little bit better hardware performance than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, because it has a larger amount of RAM memory and a higher number of cores (and they are faster).
