Comparison review
IPad Pro 11-inch (M4, 2024) is much better than the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, getting a 76.6 score against 67.9. The iPad Pro 11-inch (M4, 2024) is a somewhat heavier but somewhat thinner device than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9. The iPad Pro 11-inch (M4, 2024) comes with iPadOS 16.x OS, and Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 counts with Android 4.4 OS.
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a very superior performance than iPad Pro 11-inch (M4, 2024), although it has a smaller amount of RAM and an inferior number of cores (although faster). The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 features a much more vibrant display than Apple iPad Pro 11-inch (M4, 2024), because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a quite better resolution of 1600 x 2560px and a better display pixel density.
The iPad Pro 11-inch (M4, 2024) counts with a lot bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, because it has 256 GB internal storage capacity. IPad Pro 11-inch (M4, 2024)'s battery lifetime is just as good as the battery life in Amazon Fire HDX 8.9. The iPad Pro 11-inch (M4, 2024) shoots greater videos and photos than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, because it has a lot better video quality, a much better 12 mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera and a bigger aperture for better captures in low light environments.
Although Apple iPad Pro 11-inch (M4, 2024) is a better device, it costs a lot more than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Amazon Fire HDX 8.9. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, and give up a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your money.
