Blackview Tab 18 is slightly better than the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, having a general score of 71.2 against 67.9. Although the Blackview Tab 18 is a lot newer than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, it's notably heavier and just a little thicker. Both of these tablets come with Android OS, but Blackview Tab 18 has a newer 13 version and Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has Android 4.4, so it offers some extra features.
