Blackview Tab 18 is slightly better than the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, having a general score of 71.2 against 67.9. Although the Blackview Tab 18 is a lot newer than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, it's notably heavier and just a little thicker. Both of these tablets come with Android OS, but Blackview Tab 18 has a newer 13 version and Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has Android 4.4, so it offers some extra features.
The Blackview Tab 18 has just a little better performance than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, because it has a larger amount of RAM memory and 4 more CPU cores (but slower). Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 counts with a way better display than Blackview Tab 18, because although it has a much smaller display, it also counts with a higher 1600 x 2560 resolution and a way greater display pixel density.
The Blackview Tab 18 has a much greater memory for games and applications than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, because it has a SD extension slot that allows up to 1 TB and 256 GB internal storage capacity. Blackview Tab 18 has a little bit better camera than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, because it has a back-facing camera with lot more megapixels.
